About

Rangeley Adventure Guide Service offers guided adventures out of the RAC. This season, I will be guiding half and full-day paddles, ½ day fly fishing trips, and group paddles on local waters. Watch this page and the RAC Instagram for a group paddle schedule once the season starts. I am also excited to start offering youth adventures on Haley Pond and the Kennebago River this season. I am still in the planning stage for the youth paddles.  My goal is to have a weekly offering starting in July.  Once I have a schedule set, it will posted here and on the RAC Instagram.

I have been exploring the woods and waters of the Rangeley Region for over 25 years. In the past, my guiding was primarily fly fishing trips on our local rivers and ponds. This season I will begin to focus primarily on paddling tours and adventures, but I will still offer half-day fly fishing trips depending on availability.

I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and respect for the Rangeley Region with you.

Wildlife Tours

Early mornings and evenings are the best times to see wildlife and the best scenery the Rangeley region has to offer. Animals are the most active, and the light is often perfect for taking pictures. You may get to see moose, deer, beavers, eagles, loons, and more. While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, I can assure you that the views and scenery will not disappoint. Wildlife tours will be approximately 4-5 hours long, with about 2.5 hours of paddling. These tours are limited to 1-2 people to offer the best possible experience and chance to see wildlife. The ideal trip is 1-1 with the client in the bow of my canoe. The price for an AM/PM wildlife tour starts at $250; additional costs may apply for more remote locations. The first step is to stop by the store or contact me to begin planning your trip. To ensure the best possible experience, let's begin with a discussion about what you're looking for.
