Rentals and Shuttles
We have many options to get you enjoying time on the water in the Rangeley Region. If you are unsure what boat or SUP will fit your needs or the water you are on, call us, and we will help you decide.All rentals include paddles and lifejackets (leash with paddleboards). Late returns will be charged a full day. Straps and pads are available for transportation on your vehicle. Delivery is available for an additional fee.
Kayaks
Kayaks are a great way to enjoy time on the water. We rent Old Town and Necky kayaks. We have singles in the 9', 10' 6", and 12' 6" lengths. We also offer 13-foot tandem boats. The majority of our 10 and 12-foot fleet are Old Town Sorentos, which are great all-around boats for our local waters.

SUP
Want to get a core workout while exploring our local waters? A Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) is what you want. We rent boards by BIC and SIC in 10 and 11-foot lengths.

Canoes
We rent Old Town 15' Campers and Penobscot 164's. Canoes are an excellent option for exploring a local body of water, fishing, or an overnight camping trip on an area lake.

DIY Adventures
Kennebago and Cupsuptic Rivers
The Kennebago and Cupsuptic are excellent half-day outings. Both are beginner-friendly and usually offer plentiful wildlife sitings, especially if we get out first thing in the morning. Mileage is in the 3-4 mile range, with options to extend if time and water flows allow, with estimated paddle times of around 2-3 hours. Guided options are also available for additional fees through Rangeley Adventure Guide Service.

Pedal Boats
Explore Haley Pond from one of our two pedal boats. They are safe and easy to use. You may also get in a good workout!

Shuttles
The Rangeley Adventure Co. is located within 10 miles of the Appalachian Trail and right on the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. We have what you need to stay on the trail. We carry trekking poles and parts, paddles, dry bags, water filtration systems, packs, socks, food, and more.
